This setting is an alternate history for the world we all know and love, and we invite you to come along and join in on the fun. This is the OOC Wikia which details the lore, characters, events, locations - essentially anything relating to our roleplay on r/awoiafrp.
While we have a section of rules in place for roleplaying purposes, one really sticks out among the rest:
We expect everyone here to have general respect for one another and to simply act like adults. This is to promote a fun and positive environment. Unnecessary drama (especially of the personal nature) and negative behavior will not be tolerated. Our rules can be found here.

Aegon Targaryen, Prince Protector of Lys and Tyrosh, and rider of the Blue Queen, Tessarion, plunges his armies into battle against Westeros. He targets the Principality of Dorne, drawing the attention of King Jacaerys, and despite his overwhelming victories over the combined forces of Westeros, is forced to withdraw when Braavos attacks his Essosi holdings, but not after he and Tessarion slay Morning and her rider Rhaenys Targaryen. Aegon earns the moniker Godswrath, but the conflict ends with white peace.
Upon the conclusion of the conflict, King Velaryon turned his attention to Dorne. He arranged a marriage with one of his daughters and the new Prince Martell. The next last four years of his life were spent placating the Dornish aristocracy to quell any signs of unrest or ambitions for independence, and he was met with striking success.
Aegon would rebuild his navy and soldiers, recruit exiles from Westeros, and slowly create an Andal culture in his lands. Futhermore, a new religion was birthed, called by some as the New Exceptionalism. Combining the Faith of the Seven with the multitude of Gods worshipped in Lys and Tyrosh, this new faith provided the stability needed to secure Aegon's hold on the two Free Cities.
